JARED PENNINGTON

THURSDAYS, 3:30-5:00 PM

JANUARY 19 – MARCH 22 (10 SESSIONS)

In this class, you’ll learn everything you need to get started playing a variety of music styles (rock, country and more). The class is geared to the acoustic steel string guitar, but it’s okay if yours is electric or nylon.

Jared Pennington recently moved to Pendleton after a long career as a North Carolina musician. He performed all over the US while serving in the Marine Corps and plays everything from blues to punk rock.

BEGINNING GUITAR 2: FOR EXPERIENCED BEGINNERS

TUESDAYS, 3:30-5:00 PM

JANUARY 17 – MARCH 20 (10 SESSIONS)

If you’ve got a feel for the guitar but still need some serious instruction to get where you want to be, join this workshop! We’ll keep learning about the chords and techniques you need to play whatever kind of music you’re into. You’ll get experience playing with other people—Jared might even bring in a drum kit or bass guitar once in awhile to accompany you. Acoustic steel string, acoustic nylon and electric

guitars are all welcome.
